Akosua Agyapong, a veteran singer and dancer, has stated she is no longer married and has been single for some time, imploring people to avoid making assumptions based on her TikTok profile, which still portrays her as married.
During an interview with Angel TV, she stated that she has been open about her situation on multiple channels.
“Honestly speaking, I’m single now. I’ve been single for a while. The last time I was on Gifty Anti’s show, I made it known that I am single and no longer married,” she said.
She denied any connection between her current single status and her previous romance with highlife musician Amandzeba Nat Brew, stating that the chapter ended in 2000 and had nothing to do with her marriage.
Akosua Agyapong also took the opportunity to caution other celebrities against publicly dissecting their failed relationships.
“As a musician, your private life has nothing to do with your career. It is village life to sit on radio or TV to rant about your failed marriage. If it didn’t work, it didn’t work. Pack your goods and go your way,” she reiterated.
