Corporate Ghana, development partners, donor agencies, financial institutions, agribusinesses, and other important stakeholders are cordially invited by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to the formal opening of the 42nd National Farmers’ Day Celebration.
The launch will be at the Ministry’s forecourt in Accra on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
For more than 40 years, Ghana has used the National Farmers’ Day Celebration as a major occasion to honour and celebrate the efforts, inventiveness, and contributions of farmers, fishermen, agricultural workers, agribusinesses, researchers, and organisations that continue to propel the agricultural sector’s expansion.
Activities building up to the national celebration in 2026 would formally begin with this launch.
The 42nd edition’s subject, host region, activity schedule, award categories, and other important arrangements will all be revealed by the Ministry.
Additionally, the event will showcase sponsorship and collaboration options for important organisations who want to support Ghana’s goal for agricultural development.
It provides a useful forum for interested parties to interact directly with the Ministry and look at ways to work together to create a memorable and successful event.
The Ministry acknowledges the critical role that the private sector and development partners play as Ghana pursues sustainable agricultural growth, food security, job creation, and value addition.
In addition to honouring farmers’ and value chain participants’ efforts, your support helps to strengthen and fortify the agriculture industry.
As a result, the Ministry invites all partners and organisations to attend the launch and take advantage of the chances for collaboration and involvement.
Let’s unite to honour the people and organisations that continue to feed the country and propel Ghana’s agricultural development.
