The Ghana Police Service has issued an important update on its 2025/2026 Police Recruitment Exercise, confirming that the recruitment process is currently underway and that successful applicants are being invited in phases to designated centres across the country for the mandatory validation process.

According to the Police Administration, the validation stage is designed to verify applicants’ academic certificates, examination results, and all supporting documents submitted during the initial stages of the recruitment exercise. This step is aimed at ensuring transparency and maintaining the integrity of the selection process.

The Service stated that the first batch of successful candidates has already received invitations and is currently undergoing document verification at the assigned validation centres.

Applicants who successfully completed the medical examination and have been declared medically fit but have not yet received a validation invitation have been assured that they remain in the recruitment pool. The Ghana Police Service explained that additional batches will be called in line with the official recruitment timetable, with the exercise expected to continue through 2028.

The Police Administration has urged all applicants to remain calm and patient while awaiting further communication. It also cautioned the public against misinformation circulating about the Police recruitment process and warned applicants not to pay money to individuals claiming they can influence or facilitate recruitment into the Service.

The Ghana Police Service emphasized that the recruitment process is conducted strictly on merit and encouraged applicants to rely only on official announcements for updates on the 2025/2026 Police Recruitment.
