Ghana has introduced a new international tourism and hospitality qualification programme designed to equip professionals in the sector with the knowledge, skills and internationally recognised credentials needed to compete in the fast-growing global tourism industry.
The initiative, known as the ABE Global Certification and Diploma Programmes in Tourism and Hospitality Qualifications, is aimed at strengthening professional development within Ghana’s tourism and hospitality sector.
The programme will provide Ghanaian tourism and hospitality professionals with access to internationally recognised qualifications without the need to travel outside the country for training.
The new opportunity is expected to support skills development, career advancement and professional certification for individuals working in Ghana’s tourism, hotel, travel and hospitality industries.
By bringing globally recognised tourism and hospitality training closer to professionals in Ghana, the programme could also help improve industry standards and prepare local professionals for international employment and career opportunities in the global tourism sector.
