The Adenta Circuit Caourt has granted Salomey Awiti Baffoe bail of GH¢100,000, with two sureties required to secure her release.

The court directed that both sureties must be civil servants earning a minimum monthly salary of GH¢3,000.

Salomey Awiti Baffoe is facing allegations of being an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker Ghana Jollof. Her case has attracted significant public attention following reports surrounding her arrest and detention.

She was represented in court by the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, who welcomed the court’s decision to grant her bail.

Salomey Awiti Baffoe Arrest and Detention

Salomey Awiti Baffoe was arrested on September 13, 2026, at her residence in Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.

The arrest generated public concern after reports emerged that the 40-year-old mother of three had allegedly been taken from her home during a late-night operation.

According to reports, three individuals who identified themselves as National Security operatives arrived at her residence at about 11:30 p.m. and allegedly took her away.

Her family subsequently faced difficulties locating her or determining where she had been taken.

Reports further indicated that, at the time, the Bono East Regional Police Command and regional National Security officials said they had no record of the operation.

The case continues to attract attention as proceedings involving Salomey Awiti Baffoe, Ghana Jollof and the alleged National Security operation unfold before the court.
