Ken Agyapong, a flagbearer candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has selected the first spot on the ballot for the forthcoming Presidential primary, which is scheduled for November 4, 2023.
Other candidates included former agriculture minister Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former member of parliament for Mampong Francis Addai Nimoh, and vice president Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto.
This comes after a vote for the candidates was cast on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, by the party’s elections committee and representatives of the electoral commission.
