The witnesses will be requested to submit material for a cross-examination exercise when the in camera hearing resumes, according to Samuel Atta Akyea, the chairman of the seven-member ad hoc committee. Chief Daniel Bugri Naabu, who provided the expanded version of the leaked recording, spoke before the committee during the meeting on September 13, 2023.

Minister of National Security Albert Kan Dapaah provided a statement on the subject, which the committee also heard. Due to a national assignment, Inspector General of Police George Akuffo Dampare was unable to attend the meeting.

The committee must report its conclusions by the first week of the new legislative session, but it may ask for an extension if necessary. The general public is encouraged to provide any proof that could be useful in the current case.
