This morning, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia welcomed to the Jubilee House, H.E. Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, who is in the country for a two-day historic visit.
Prime Minister Fiala is the first Czech Prime Minister to visit Ghana, and his visit opens the door for the strengthening of existing cooperation between the two countries.
They held bilateral discussions on existing areas of cooperation such as: economic, agriculture, health, defence and security, as well as new areas they can explore, such as technology, merchanised agriculture and trade, for the benefit of the two countries.
Czech Republic has been a strategic partner to Ghana’s development, and I used the occasion to thank Prime Minister Fiala for his country’s support and cooperation.
