Renewing driver licenses and road worthiness certificates on time is important, as the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has reminded its clients.
Those who possess driver’s licenses were cautioned by the DVLA of the consequences of not renewing them.
In a statement released on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, the DVLA stated that “driver license holders and vehicle owners who fail to renew their licenses and road worthy certificates on or before the expiry dates as indicated on their documents shall be made to pay for the appropriate delinquency charges as provided for, in the Fees and Charges Instrument 2015 (L.I 220)”.
As a result, it advised every client to take the necessary action and renew their roadworthy certifications and driver’s licenses before their respective “expiry dates.”
