An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 47-year-old male adult at Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region has been launched by the Ghana Police Service.
On Thursday, February 15, 2024, the dead, a trader named Eric Baidoo, was allegedly stabbed by an attacker who is presently at large.
Since then, the deceased person’s body has been placed in the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
On Friday, February 16, 2024, the Tema Regional Police Commander led a police delegation to express condolences to the deceased’s family and guarantee a comprehensive inquiry into the tragedy.
An intelligence-led effort is in progress to apprehend the offender or people and bring them to justice.
