Following the one week commemoration of Attorney John Kumah’s passing, former president of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi says he will determine whether to run for the Ejisu seat.
He claims that since the constituency has suffered greatly with the loss of the MP, attention should be focused on the celebration before he makes a decision.
Speaking to the media, Nyantakyi stated that he hails from Ejisu and is very qualified to run for the position.
“The Ejisu bye-election will come off but we don’t know those who want to contest. Since I come from there and I have the right to contest at the right time we will see but at the moment we are mourning the demise of a very illustrous son of the constituency.
The whole member of parliament for the constituency, it’s a big loss for the constituency so let’s see what happens after the one week. After the one week we will tell you whether we have plans or not,” he reiterated.
