In response to a blackmail complaint filed by Serwaa Amihere, the state filed charges against Henry Fitz and two other individuals on Monday, April 8, 2024.

According to the authorities, Serwaa was cyberbullied and her private photos were published without her consent. The three individuals planned to carry out these crimes together.

The identities of the other two accused individuals are trader Candylove Kwakyewaa Ababio and filmmaker Edem Saviour Ketti.

According to the lawsuit, they are charged with conspiring to first force her to pay a sum of money in order to stop them from releasing her naked film, which included Henry Fitz, the third accused.

The distribution of Serwaa Amihere’s illegal video recordings on social media without her permission constituted the second offense.

According to the lawsuit, on December 3, 2024, the accused made their first financial demands of GHS 5,000. These demands were purportedly made through the cosmetics artist who filed the complaint.

She supposedly paid the second demand, which was for GHS 20,000, but the accused still released the private footage.

The lawsuit further claims that the first accused was taken into custody at his hiding in Dzorwulu after surveillance was established in accordance with the police report.

He allegedly acknowledged using his Ghana Card to register the aforementioned mobile money account number throughout the course of the inquiry, giving it to the second accused before giving it to the third accused.

While investigations are ongoing, attempts are being made to capture Henry Fitz, who is currently at large.
