A terrible road accident in Obuasi Kyekyewere in the Ashanti Region claims six lives.

Six people were killed in a sad road accident at Kyekyewere, close to Obuasi, when they were returning from a funeral service.

The victims were in a private vehicle when it struck a truck head-on, according to witnesses.

There was little prospect of surviving due to the crash’s devastating impact. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency personnel declared all six passengers deceased.

To find out what caused the collision, authorities have started an inquiry. According to preliminary assessments, the crash may have been caused in part by poor visibility and potential overspeeding.
