For the year that ended on December 21, 2024, MTN Ghana recorded a strong financial performance.
The company’s earnings after tax was GH₵5.03 billion, up 26.3% from GH₵3.98 billion in 2023.
A final dividend of GH₵0.24 per share, up from GH₵0.175 the year before, has been recommended by the Board of Directors in light of this impressive performance.
This represents a 35.6% increase over 2023, bringing the total dividend year 2024 to GH₵0.305 per share.

As per the company’s dividend policy, the entire dividend payment amounts to 80.26 percent of profit after taxes.
With the ex-dividend date set for Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and the dividend payment scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the final dividend is contingent to shareholder approval.
The compensation would be available to shareholders who were listed on MTN Ghana’s records as of Thursday, April 4, 2025.
Despite economic constraints, Stephen Blewett, CEO of MTN Ghana, expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance. “Our strategic initiatives and commitment to operational efficiency have delivered strong results, ensuring we continue to create value for our shareholders,” he said.
