On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the Black Satellites will set up camp again in Accra in order to continue getting ready for the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
After returning from Morocco, where they competed in a three-nation competition in Rabat, the team has been taking a week-long rest.
Before leaving for Egypt for the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place from April 26 to May 18, 2025, the team will prepare in Accra and play a number of friendlies under coach Desmond Ofei.
For the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana has been assigned to Group A, which also includes Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, DR Congo, and a squad from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFFAC).
The Black Satellites, who have won the trophy in 1993, 1999, 2009, and 2021, are hoping to win the continental youth championship for the fifth time.
In 2009, they also took home the FIFA U-20 World Cup from Egypt.
