During his “Thank You Tour,” the President delivered this news to the people of Dambai in the Oti Region.
He underlined that the bridge would offer a dependable and effective mode of transit, lowering the risks connected to ferry crossings and stimulating local economic activity.
President Mahama said that the Big Push Agenda is advancing a number of road projects in the area in addition to the bridge.
Commencement certifications have been granted to several projects, including the Nkwanta-Kpassa-Damanko road, Okadja-Krom road, Kwamekrom road, Abotoass-Atonkor road, and Dambai-Nkwanta road. These projects are currently undergoing procurement in order to choose contractors for their implementation.

Recognizing the value of dependable infrastructure in bolstering the local economy, the President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing these projects.
These initiatives have been given top priority by the NDC government, and it is anticipated that their completion will significantly boost regional growth.
