The 2025 PANAFEST & Emancipation celebrations in Cape Coast have been formally launched by Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who encouraged parents to engage their kids in sharing stories about African history.
The Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, emphasized PANAFEST’s contribution to the Black Star Experience and Ghana’s cultural tourism goal while advocating for reparative justice and a revitalized African consciousness.
Through drumming, dancing, and stirring thoughts, the event brought together traditional leaders, diaspora communities, and government representatives to celebrate the tenacity of ancestors and to foresee a future based on dignity, togetherness, and cultural pride.
