A new governing board for the Ghana Incentive-Based Risk-Sharing System for Agricultural Lending Ltd. (GIRSAL) has been established by Hon. Thomas Nyarko-Ampem, the Deputy Minister for Finance.
In addition to congratulating them, he reminded the board members of GIRSAL’s vital role in revolutionizing the agriculture industry.
Since agriculture continues to be a key component of the government’s development program, he also urged them to stay dedicated to producing results.
The Minister was reassured by the board’s chairperson, Prof. Richard Jinks Bani, that the board will endeavor to make agriculture more inclusive and thanked President John Dramani Mahama for the nomination.
He stated that the members are ready to fulfill their mandate and serve honorably.
