Ghanaian musician and political commentator A-Plus has claimed that dancehall star Shatta Wale could be targeting a major concert at Wembley Stadium in London rather than the O2 Arena because of the size of his fan base.
Speaking on United Showbiz, A-Plus explained that the SM Movement and 4Lyfe family have not organised a concert at the O2 Arena due to concerns that the venue may not be large enough to accommodate Shatta Wale’s expected audience.
According to A-Plus, the number of fans likely to attend a major Shatta Wale concert could create significant crowd-management challenges at a smaller venue.
Shatta Wale Eyes Wembley Stadium Concert
A-Plus said the team is instead exploring the possibility of securing Wembley Stadium, one of the biggest football and entertainment venues in the United Kingdom.
Wembley Stadium has a capacity of approximately 80,000 spectators, making it a significantly larger venue for a potential Shatta Wale international concert.
He also mentioned the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as another possible location for the proposed event.
A-Plus expressed confidence that Shatta Wale has the fan base and popularity to attract a massive audience if he secures a stadium venue in London.
Shatta Wale’s Global Concert Ambitions
The comments have sparked renewed interest in Shatta Wale’s plans for international concerts and his growing influence within the global African music industry.
A concert at Wembley Stadium would represent a major milestone for the Ghanaian dancehall artiste and could further strengthen Ghana’s presence on the international music and entertainment scene.
For now, the proposed Wembley or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium concert remains an option being explored, according to A-Plus.
