The Ministry of Health announced that public health training programs nationwide will begin accepting students for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Ministry states that the Degree, Diploma, and Certificate programs’ online admissions portal will formally open on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 am, and close on Friday, June 12, 2026.
The Ministry released a statement inviting eligible applicants to apply for admission to Ghana’s public health training programs.
The Ministry clarified that GH¢150 application vouchers are available for purchase on the Health Training admissions portal.
After payment, applicants will receive a voucher with a special PIN and serial number that they can use to access and fill out the online application.
As long as they haven’t been used, all purchased coupons will be good until June 19, 2026, according to the Ministry.
During the application procedure, applicants are also urged to include their residential address, Ghana Post Digital Address, active phone number, valid email address, and personal Ghana Card number.
The Ministry emphasised that all correspondence about admissions will be done by SMS or email and advised candidates not to use someone person’s Ghana Card number or email address.
According to the announcement, “applicants who meet the admission requirements will be invited to attend a competitive interview at the school of their choice.”
Additionally, the Ministry cautioned candidates that incomplete or inaccurate applications may impact their eligibility for admission and advised them to carefully fill out and submit their forms.
It urged prospective students to contact the Ministry’s formal channels of communication if they needed help or clarification.
