Actor Akwasi Boadi, better known by his stage name Akrobeto, is from Ghana and survived an accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
He was traveling to Kumasi on Friday, May 23, 2025, when the event happened at Ohene Nkwanta in Odumasi, which is part of the Asante Akyem Central Municipality.
According to an eyewitness, a tricycle—known locally as an Aboboyaa—suddenly crossed in front of his car.
Akrobeto’s vehicle, registered GW 635-24, was struck in the back by a heavy-duty truck driver who was following him in an effort to avoid a collision.
Although the collision caused significant damage to the vehicles involved, it has been determined that Akrobeto escaped without suffering any life-threatening injuries. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene quickly after the crash.
