Curfews in the Northern Region’s Saboba and Bimbilla Townships and surrounding areas are being lifted.

The Northern Region’s curfews on Saboba and Bimbilla have been immediately lifted by the Interior Minister, acting on the Northern Regional Security Council’s recommendation.

This has become necessary due to the improvement in the security situation in the area and the sincere desire of the chiefs and local population to maintain peace in the area.

In addition to thanking the chiefs, elders, opinion Leaders, Youth, and local residents, the government continues to encourage them to continue using peaceful methods to resolve their conflicts.
