Bishop Daniel Obinim has addressed reports surrounding his alleged divorce from gospel musician Florence Obinim, explaining that his decision to leave their family home did not necessarily mean he had ended the marriage.
Speaking during a church service on Monday, September 8, 2026, the founder of International Godsway Church confirmed that members of Florence Obinim’s family had travelled to Kumasi to meet with him in an attempt to resolve issues surrounding their marriage.
According to Obinim, Florence’s relatives, identified as Sister Abena, Elder Anane and Brother Frank, attended the meeting, while his eldest daughter, Gifted Obinim, was present as a witness.
Obinim explained that Florence’s family told him she believed he had left their home because he was no longer interested in continuing the marriage.
He, however, clarified that leaving the family residence did not automatically mean he had abandoned the marriage.
