The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power interruption in parts of the Central Region as part of planned maintenance works aimed at improving electricity supply and service delivery.
According to ECG, the maintenance exercise will result in a temporary power outage in several communities on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

ECG Appeals for Public Cooperation
ECG has urged residents and businesses in the affected communities to take note of the scheduled power interruption and make the necessary preparations ahead of the maintenance exercise.
The electricity provider said the planned work is necessary to support improved power supply reliability and service delivery in the affected areas.
ECG has apologised to customers for the inconvenience the temporary outage may cause and thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation during the maintenance exercise.
