The Minister for Health, Hon. Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye today continued his tour in the Ashanti region. His first port of call was at the 40-bed District Hospital at Suame, where he interacted with contractors and engineers working on the project site.
The Health Minister then paid a courtesy call to the Ashantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, at the Manhyia Palace.
Hon. Dr Okoe-Boye and his delegation ended the second-day tour at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, where he visited the Accidents and Emergency Centre, the Physiotherapy Department and inspected the progress of work on the 500-bed Maternity and Children’s block.
