Ghana and Denmark have reiterated their commitment to expanding bilateral trade and investment relations, during a courtesy call by H.E. Jakob Linulf, Danish Ambassador to Ghana, on Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

The meeting, held at the Ministry on Wednesday, November 5th, in Accra, aimed to explore new areas of collaboration in sustainable industrial development, agribusiness, renewable energy, and technology transfer.

Hon. Ofosu-Adjare praised Denmark for its continuous collaboration with Ghana to promote inclusive economic growth and capacity building.

She reaffirmed that the government is committed to providing a business-friendly climate that welcomes foreign investment and advances Ghana’s economic transformation.

For his part, Ambassador Linulf stated that Denmark is prepared to expand economic collaboration with Ghana in ways that support the sustainable development objectives of both nations.

He stated that Denmark is eager to strengthen trade relations through joint ventures and knowledge sharing, and he referred to Ghana as a crucial partner in West Africa.

In order to formalise future cooperation, the two parties also talked about signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Denmark and the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

Denmark’s support for Ghana’s green transition strategy and innovation-driven trade efforts was further underscored during their talks, highlighting the two countries’ shared aim for robust and sustainable economic growth.
