Rand Merchant Bank reports that in 2025 and 2026, Ghana remained the sixth most investable country on the African continent.
According to the research “Where to Invest in Africa in 2025/26,” Ghana is the top location in West Africa for doing business.
In terms of investment, Seychelles continued to hold its top spot in the continent.
Mauritius came in second, followed by Egypt in third. Morocco was ranked fifth, and South Africa was ranked fourth.
Algeria, Cote d’lvoire, Tanzania, Kenya, and Ethiopia rank seventh through tenth, respectively.
Fundamentals, or what economists call structural elements, were the main focus of the RMB Where to Invest in Africa Index.
Instead of being unpredictable, chaotic, and flighty, these characteristics are solid, slow-moving, and foundational.
