Ghanaian businessman and entrepreneur Dr. Kofi Amoah has significantly influenced many businesses in Ghana and Africa. He was raised in Accra and was born in Ghana in 1955.
Dr. Amoah received his primary and secondary education in Ghana before relocating to the United States, where he attended Carleton College in Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. From 2004 to 2005, he also held the position of Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, where he oversaw the sport’s restructuring and assisted the national squad in reaching its first World Cup qualification.

He established the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, which provides training and research in peacekeeping and security, as well as the Citizen Kofi Education Foundation, which awards scholarships to underprivileged students in Ghana.
