The Kpeve Headworks pump has been successfully repaired by Ghana Water Limited (GWL), according to a statement from the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC).
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at around 6:52 p.m., water production started up again.
The PURC said in a statement on February 8 that it would take an average of five to six hours for customers to begin getting water because of dried pipelines.
The commission advised consumers to stay patient as the distribution team works to restore supply to all affected locations.
