Ghanaian socialite and artist Hajia4Reall has revealed that her ex-partner, Luvman Allison, has been using her accounts to accept money from unidentified people, in a shocking development in her ongoing romance scam case.
The claims were included in a document that Hajia4Reall’s attorneys filed with a US court.
Elenor Fast, her attorney, claimed that Luvman Allison had been using false means to sustain himself while on probation after being previously arrested by the US authorities.
According to the affidavit, Allison took advantage of Hajia4Reall’s trust by tricking her into thinking they were in a serious relationship and then used that confidence to entice her into his money schemes.
In her statement, Hajia4Reall, also going by Mona Faiz Montrage, described how Allison persuaded her to consent to money being deposited into her accounts and to be transferred on his behalf, citing limits on his own accounts that were mandated by law.
Mona persisted in these actions while knowing they were wrong because she was afraid for her safety and the protection of her kid.
He used to beg me to let him get money from my accounts at one point in our relationship, then he would ask me to take it out for him. He would occasionally urge me to send it to the business partner in Ghana, according to Mona.
“He told me that he could not use his bank account because he was on probation and had financial limitations placed on him by the courts. I gladly did this; I didn’t doubt the source of these funds because I had come to trust and love him. And I felt that as his partner, it was the least I could do to support his business.” she stated.
According to Mona’s statement, she discovered afterwards that Allison used other people’s accounts in the same way. “Still, I continued to let him use my accounts because I was scared of what could happen to me and my daughter if I tried to leave the relationship or the scheme that he and I were involved in.
I knew what I was doing was wrong and against my moral character. What I did was against the values that I came to America with and that I told myself I would live by,” she added.
