New West Africa International has recognised Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, for his exceptional leadership, moral character, and contributions to Ghana’s digital transformation and communications agenda.
The award was given to the Minister at his office by a delegation headed by Dr. Dee Otibu Asare, the organization’s Editor-in-Chief, who praised his candidness on national issues and his visionary approach to public service.
Hon. George was praised by Dr. Asare for his outstanding accomplishments and unwavering commitment to duty, characterising him as a leader of moral conviction, intelligence, and integrity.
He stated that the Minister is one of the government’s most valuable resources due to his leadership style and dedication to national progress.

Dr. Asare emphasised the Minister’s ideological foundation by saying that Hon. George finds motivation in the values of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president, which direct his work at the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations.
He asserts that Hon. George’s support for economic independence and self-reliance is a reflection of his strong sense of patriotism and dedication to the advancement of the country.
With a stellar service record, Hon. Nartey George is a third-term member of parliament from the Greater Accra Region and the Secretary General of the African Parliamentary Network on Work Governance.
Among his leadership responsibilities is his position on the National Information Technology Agency’s (NITA) governing board, where he continues to influence the agency’s expansion and the direction of digital policy.
He was the Presidency’s Communication Specialist before being appointed as a minister. He was also a member of the Public Accounts Committee and the Deputy Ranking Member of the Communications Select Committee in Parliament.
In addition to thanking Dr. Asare and his team for the distinction, Hon. George reaffirmed his dedication to promoting inclusive development and furthering Ghana’s digital transformation via integrity-driven leadership.
