Madam Virginia E. Palmer, the departing US Ambassador to Ghana, has said goodbye to President John Dramani Mahama.
She had been on duty in Ghana for three years when this occurred.
President Mahama and Madam Palmer had a fruitful conversation regarding the close ties between their two countries throughout the meeting.
The President wished Madam Palmer the best of luck in her future endeavors and thanked her for her devoted dedication and achievements during her term.
“Ghana deeply values its relationship with the United States,” President Mahama said.
Madam Palmer, for her part, reiterated the United States-Ghanaian partnership.
In order to support Ghana’s economic recovery and prosperity in both nations, she also reaffirmed the necessity of strengthening their trade connections.
