The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) has named Margaret Ansei as its Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Margaret Ansei, also referred to as Magoo, is a renowned public servant with a wealth of development and governance expertise. She previously served as the Eastern Region’s Suhum Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
Her appointment, which became effective on January 27, 2025, is a testament to the government’s confidence in her to lead the GEA’s initiatives to assist MSMEs nationwide.
In her role as Acting CEO, Ms. Ansei is expected to carry on the GEA’s mission of enabling small enterprises by means of creative projects, programs that build capacity, and financial assistance to boost economic expansion and generate job opportunities.
Promoting and developing MSMEs, which are the foundation of Ghana’s economy, is the responsibility of the Ghana Enterprises Agency.
Margaret Ansei is well-positioned to lead the organization in achieving its goal of encouraging entrepreneurship and propelling the expansion of small companies across the country because to her vast expertise in local government and community development.
