Minister for Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has assured the public that transport fares will remain unchanged for the time being, despite recent declines in fuel prices.

His remarks come amid growing public pressure for fare reductions, particularly following past instances where transport unions pushed for increases in response to rising fuel costs.

Addressing the issue, Mr. Nikpe stated that fare adjustments are determined by a structured formula and are subject to ongoing discussions with transport unions and operators.
