The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is set to host another edition of its Progress Series, focusing on the performance, achievements and future outlook of the Volta Aluminium Company Limited (VALCO).

The programme, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., will provide a platform for government officials and VALCO management to discuss the company’s operational progress, key accomplishments and strategic plans for 2027.

The event will feature the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, alongside Dr. Robert Makila Sambian, Chief Executive Officer of VALCO.

The discussion is expected to highlight VALCO’s contribution to Ghana’s industrial development, aluminium production, economic growth and the government’s broader agenda for strengthening the country’s natural resource and manufacturing sectors.

The Progress Series forms part of the Ministry’s commitment to promoting transparency, public accountability and effective communication on government policies, institutional achievements and development initiatives.

The event will take place at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources Conference Room in Accra. Attendance is strictly by invitation.

Members of the public will, however, be able to follow the programme live on Joy News, GTV and GHOne TV.

The engagement is expected to provide valuable insights into VALCO’s performance, its role in Ghana’s industrialisation agenda and the opportunities and challenges shaping the company’s future in 2027.
