Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, also known as Mama Pat (Nana Agradaa), has legally retracted and apologized for making derogatory allegations about Empress Gifty Oppong Adorye.
Her lawyers, Agyaa Asamani Law Consult, delivered the apology in a press statement on December 4, 2025.
According to the statement, “In May 2025, our client, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua @ Mama Pat, published several posts on her social media handles. These posts were made in reaction to a statement previously made by Mr. Hopeson Adorye against her person.”
Her lawyers clarified that the comments were not intended to slander the gospel musician, but were misinterpreted as such.
The statement said, “Our client’s statements were made in the spur of the moment; however, they were taken literally to impute immorality and unchastity upon the character of Empress Gifty Oppong Adorye.”
The law firm made it clear that the accusations were unfounded, “It is now stated unequivocally that the allegations made by our client as contained in the impugned publications were false and completely without merit. Consequently, our client retracts every statement made therein.”
The statement expressed Mama Pat’s regret and offered an unconditional apologies.
