The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) 29th Ordinary Congress is slated to take place on July 6, 2023.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi will host the Congress in its Great Hall. According to a GFA news statement on Thursday, the choice was made during an Executive Council meeting on Tuesday at the GFA headquarters in Accra.
The Congress will be scheduled in accordance with article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes 2019, which requires the Executive Council to choose the Congress’s date and location.
The members must receive written notice of the Congress at least ten days in advance, according the statutes.
According to the GFA Statutes, Congress meets once per football season in an Ordinary Session, usually just before the season begins. At 9:00 am, the Congress is scheduled to start.
The Activity Report, Financial Statements, Auditors’ Report, and other related documents will be on the congress agenda.
