A user on Twitter (Ghatu) made a horrible and disrespectful comment about a video I posted of my 5-year-old child.
What was said crossed a line that no child should ever be exposed to. As a mother, this incident has really affected me.
It has led to emotional distress, anxiety, and sleepless nights. No parent should ever have to witness their child being spoken about or regarded in this way.
Although an apology has been given, I want to emphasise that it does not remove the nature of the insult or the impact it had on me and my family.
The hurt caused by words directed at a child cannot simply be undone.
This issue has been formally reported due to its seriousness, and my legal team is actively addressing it.
I’m not going to get into back-and-forths or disputes online. This is about a child’s safety, dignity, and protection; it is no longer social media debate.
I genuinely thank everyone who has expressed concern, solidarity, and support.
Your support has meant more than words can say, and your voices are important.
Right now, my only concern is preserving the tranquilly and innocence of my child.
