A total of 500 students at the Ashanti Region’s Kumasi Technical Institute have been disciplined for misbehavior.
The youngsters, who are all boarders, were expelled for disobedience and breaking school rules. On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, the pupils allegedly damaged school property during a rage.
The school’s administration did not elaborate on the situation but did mention that the suspension was meant to promote order among the kids.
The students who were asked by the school authorities to pack out of their dormitories will face the school’s disciplinary committee when they are recalled.
The Technical and Vocational Education Training Directorate has received a report on the pupils’ behavior in the interim, and will take appropriate action.
