Ghana’s year on year Inflation for September has dropped significantly to 9.4 percent from 11.5 percent in August 2025.

This is the lowest since August 2021 and the ninth consecutive decline.

This also the first time in four years inflation has declined to single digit. Food inflation declined to 11.0 percent in September from 14.8% in August 2025.

Also, non-food inflation fell to 8.2 percent in September 2025 from 8.7 percent in August 2025. Inflation for locally produced items was 10.1 percent in September from 12.2 percent in August 2025.

Imported items recorded 7.4 percent for September in inflation from 9.5 percent in August 2025.
