The family of the late Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, the former first lady of Ghana, received an emotional visit from Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister for the Interior, after her passing.
Hon. Muntaka offered the family his sincerest sympathies during the visit, calling the former First Lady a true leader who stood out for women’s rights in Ghana.
He thought about her extraordinary legacy, which will surely live on in the memories of future generations.
“Her dedication to empowering women and her unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress are qualities that define her leadership,” he said.

Hon. Muntaka also provided consolation by referring to the teachings that recognise life’s cycle.
He stated, “There is a time for everything, and her passing should be seen as the will of God, who has come to take her to his bosom.”
As they grieve the death of their beloved, the Hon. Minister prayed for the family’s protection, wisdom, togetherness, and peace.
