The 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy is scheduled to be presented to Parliament by the Finance Minister on November 13.

On November 13, Ghana’s Finance Minister Dr. Ato Forson is scheduled to deliver the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament, according to those with knowledge of the planning process, Joy Business has learnt.

The government will deliver its first significant budget after winning the 2024 elections and having almost nine months to manage the economy on the suggested date, which is pending legislative approval.

The 2025 Budget, according to a number of analysts, mostly followed the parameters set by the previous administration.

The Finance Minister, representing the President, must deliver the national budget to Parliament by November 15 of each year in accordance with the Public Financial Management Act.
