Dr. George Amoh, Executive Secretary of the National Peace Council, met with Honourable James Gyakye Quayson (MP), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, yesterday, Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Their conversation centred on enhancing collaboration between the Ministry and the Council in the areas of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and national cohesion.
Honourable Quayson complimented the National Peace Council on its ongoing efforts to promote national unity and peace at both the community and national levels.
He emphasised the Ministry’s commitment to supporting programs that promote social harmony and long-term peace.
Dr. Amoh, for his part, thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its cooperation and assistance, emphasising the value of ongoing communication, collaborative efforts, and frequent consultations to improve the efficacy of peacebuilding activities.
