Diana Antwi Hamilton, a renowned gospel artiste, is soliciting for votes on social media following her nomination for the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), which will be held on May 9, 2026.
Diana Hamilton, the only gospel artist in the group, was nominated in the Artiste of the Year category for her powerful praise songs and soul-stirring performances.
With her popular song “Aha Ye,” which features veteran musicians Elder Mireku and Ntokozo Mbambo among others, she also received nominations for Best Gospel Artiste and Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song.
Diana Hamilton made a plea to the public in a Facebook post that the newspaper saw, writing, “Team DH, will we do this? To cast a ballot if you use Telecel, just dial *1767#. The codes are as follows: N3 for Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song, E2 for Best Gospel Artiste, and A6 for Artiste of the Year.
“We are also honoured to be included on two songs that are nominated for Best Traditional Gospel: M5-Akorfala by my sister Celestine Donkor and M4-M’aseda by my brother Kofi Owusu Peprah.
“Let’s bring these home together! Let’s go!”
Diana Hamilton was the first female gospel artist to win the VGMA Artiste of the Year award in 2021, among other honours. She has received a lot of support from her fans, including the ultimate Artiste of the Year award.
In addition to her career in music, she is an advocate for “healthy lifestyles” and the director of the Diana Hamilton Foundation, which aims to improve education outcomes for the underprivileged and promote wellness.
