WAMPHARMA has donated more than $100,000 worth of sophisticated bedside pulse oximeters to the Ministry of Health in support of the government’s Free Primary Healthcare program, which aims to enhance the provision of child healthcare nationwide.
David Sam, the company’s Director of Partnerships and Sales for West Africa, presented the donation and noted that it came after talks with Masimo about supporting the government’s premier healthcare initiative.
Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, who received the goods on behalf of the government, thanked the business for the gesture and described it as a show of support for the Free Primary Healthcare policy.
The Minister urged business organisations, development partners, and people to support the government’s efforts to bolster healthcare services and enhance patient care across the country, pointing out that the program is revolutionising Ghana’s healthcare delivery system.
