GoldBod and Ghana Water Limited (GWL) have signed a GH¢8.4 million agreement to restore the Bonsa, Daboase, and Sekyere Heman Water Supply Systems in the Western and Central Regions.
GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi, Esq. reaffirmed GoldBod’s commitment to ethical mining, environmental sustainability, and enhancing the lives of Ghanaians during the signing ceremony by stating that the Board undertook an independent technical assessment prior to sanctioning the project.
After years of operating difficulties, the project would assist restore water production and enhance service delivery to impacted communities, according to GWL Managing Director Adam Mutawakilu, who commended GoldBod for the prompt action.
