Multiple projects now well advanced, the Volta Region is on schedule to deliver the first fully finished road project under the Big Push.
The Penyi–Denu Road repair is 75.68% finished, while the Kpetoe–Ave Afiadenyigba (Lot 7) rehabilitation is 45% finished.
As part of President Mahama’s Resetting Ghana visit, Hon. Kwame Agbodza revealed this yesterday while he inspected a few road projects in the Volta Region.

According to President Mahama, the Big Push program is now building 2,500 km of roads nationally.
He praised contractors for being ahead of time on multiple projects and expressed satisfaction with the speed of work.
He pointed out that the government committed more than GH¢40 billion, including more than GH¢13 billion in the program’s first phase and an additional GH¢30.8 billion this year.
