Ghana’s Black Queens have touched down in Accra after recording a resounding 0:7 victory over Rwanda in the first leg of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Kigali.
The team arrived at the Kotoka International Airport via Air Rwanda at around 2:00pm and were met by some fans and a section of the media.
Nora Hauptle’s side will continue camping in Accra ahead of the reverse fixture scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday September 26, 2023.
A win on Tuesday means the Black Queens are in the second and final round of the 2024 WAFCON qualifiers and will play against the winner of the fixture between Gambia and Namibia.
