Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak’s management has revealed that she would be calling it quits on her attempt to shatter the record for the longest cooking marathon by a single person tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Her management claims that their choice is made with the chef’s best interests in mind and is based on their judgment.
However, according to Chef Failatu’s management, even when her medical team cleared her to resume cooking, the chef claimed she wanted to, and they persuaded her to heed their judgment and halt the marathon.
According to her management, there will be an after-party to thank the wonderful people of Ghana for their unwavering support during her quest to shatter the record for the longest cooking marathon by a single person set by the Guinness World Record.
Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, who is headquartered in Tamale, Northern Region, is going to attempt to set a record for the longest cooking marathon by a single person on the Guinness World Record.
Since then, Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has completed more than 200 hours and anticipates completing 240 hours total.
Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has surpassed Ugandan chef Dorcus Mirembe, also referred to as Mama D, in the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, having cooked for 144 hours and 20 minutes.
