The government is being urged to revoke Ken Ofori-Atta’s appointment as the Senior Presidential Advisor and Special Envoy for International Finance and Private Sector Investments by an organization going by the name Alliance For Footsloldiers Advocacy (AFFA).
The Group claims that Mr. Ofori-Atta is still the first Finance Minister serving throughout the Fourth Republic to have been openly criticized for the way he has managed the economy.
The Group said in a statement that Mr. Ofori-Atta’s selection to the new role in the midst of the current economic challenges is a slap in the face to the electorate of Ghana.
